• Support engineering activities within the Track Engineering office
• Assist in the design and construction of railway projects of varied size and complexity, primarily focusing on trackwork and track switches
• Adhere to standards and procedures throughout design and construction processes
• Perform surveys using topographical instruments to gather necessary data
• Draft designs using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software
• Develop contract specifications and reports related to track engineering projects
• Provide field technical support by conducting visual inspections
• Create construction drawings as needed for project implementation
• Possess the ability to drive in New York City to facilitate site visits and inspections
