Electrical Estimator (On-site)

Join our client's dynamic team where your skills and expertise will directly impact their success. We’re seeking a dedicated Electrical Estimator to bring their experience and drive to their organization.
What You Will Do:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for various projects, including conceptual, design-build, and general tender work.
- Calculation: Independently calculate materials, labor, and equipment costs based on proposals, plans, and specifications, including project closings.
- Data Review: Review data to determine material and labor requirements, creating detailed itemized lists.
- Quotation Requests: Draft requests for quotations to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Software Utilization: Utilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid Classic or Anywhere) for precise cost calculations.
- Collaboration: Work with the Estimating Manager to establish indirect costs and overheads for each estimate.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to help achieve company objectives.
What You Need to Join Our Team:
- Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred, equivalent trade experience, and 2 + years of electrical estimating experience in the electrical contracting industry.
- Expertise: Experience in developing electrical service quotes/estimates and a solid understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel); knowledge of Accubid Estimating Software is preferred.
- Professionalism: Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, contractors, and other business partners.
- Organization: Capable of handling multiple competing priorities and timelines efficiently.
Experience:
- Construction Estimating: Minimum of 3 years preferred.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000, depending on experience
