Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Test Engineer to support our client's development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of advanced military equipment. In this role, you will contribute to the design and evaluation of highly complex electronic and electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, plan, design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic and electrical systems and components.
  • Utilize advanced modeling and analysis tools to create product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
  • Assess vendor capabilities, technologies, and services to ensure they meet required product or service standards.
  • Work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design for a variety of military systems, including combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
  • Provide detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product applications.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems.
  • Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing interface control documents.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSpice or LTspice).

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on troubleshooting of circuits using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW, and Test Stand.
  • Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio.

Required Experience:

  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
  • Experience in developing technical documentation such as drawings, reports, and technical analysis.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems.
  • Experience with programming National Instruments test equipment using LabVIEW and Test Stand.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no prior experience required.
