Procurement Analyst (Hybrid)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst to manage and optimize the procurement processes for information technology and telecommunications services and materials. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that contractual expectations and objectives are met, and to oversee the development, negotiation, and implementation of major technology and telecommunications contracts. The ideal candidate will manage emergent project work, oversee key supplier relationships, and ensure continuity of supply for all key contracted materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:
- Oversee the administration of contracts for IT and telecommunications projects, including managing change orders, claims, and back charges.
- Assert warranty claims and develop methods for assessing contractor performance.
- Handle dispute resolution and implement processes and controls to protect the company’s contractual rights and remedies.

Procurement Strategy:
- Plan, develop, and coordinate innovative contracting strategies and solutions with client personnel.
- Define the scope of work and assess contractor qualifications and capabilities through RFPs or other processes for contracts ranging from $1.5M to $10M.

Negotiation & Relationship Management:
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage key supplier relationships.
- Work closely with technology and telecommunication firms to ensure warranties, transfer of ownership, and other contractual agreements are met.

Project Management:
- Manage technically complex projects and commercial negotiations that support maintenance and operations.
- Continuously re-source recurring contractual commitments and handle emergent project work as needed.
Required Skills, Competencies, Education, and Experience:
- B.S./B.A. Degree
- 6-10 years of experience in large contract management
- 7 years of experience in IT and telecommunications service management
- Strong understanding of technology and telecommunications projects and scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Assess contractual risk and implement risk management strategies
- Implement measures to tie payment to performance
- Monitor and manage cost and change
- Define and manage deliverables and responsibilities between the company and the contractor
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent negotiating skills

- JD or paralegal experience

Pay Range: $48.00 - $54.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
