Procurement Analyst I - Expeditor (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Procurement Analyst I - Expeditor to support their Ship Repair businesses in Norfolk, VA. This role within Supply Chain will ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS), Public Law, and company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing administrative and procurement-related duties for the shipyard’s Supply Chain team, acting as a liaison across the function to gather, compile, and organize information.
- Managing data entry and problem-solving tasks, including invoice reconciliation, initiating supplier onboarding requests, and handling purchase order closeout processes using various ERP programs such as CostPoint, SREP, HICX, KTA, Exostar, Coupa, and SRDAP.
- Expediting open material orders based on yard-specific priorities and delivery dates.
- Consolidating inputs and preparing yard-level reports using tools such as PowerPoint and web-based systems for weekly material availability updates.
- Supporting administrative tasks by organizing and collecting data for various deliverables.
- Assisting with Purchase Order Program closeouts within SREP and managing procurements within the role’s delegation of authority.
- Supporting additional administrative activities, such as preparing NDAs/PIAs, RFQ packages, terms flow-down documentation, and internal responses to RCCs.
- Summarizing information from various sources for different types of reporting and performing validation checks.
Skills Required:
- Experience in Supply Chain or Business Administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong data entry, maintenance, and reporting skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong computer skills to work with multiple databases
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience Required:
- High School Diploma and 4 years of work experience, or equivalent experience

Pay Range: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
