Production Operator IV (On-site)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator IV to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of components for a specialized program. Your expertise will contribute to assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and modules using visual aids, prints, wiring lists, and diagrams.
- Assemble electronic components and modules, ensuring adherence to IPC-610 standards.
- Perform mechanical assembly operations including chassis assembly, wire termination, installation of wire harnesses, and cable assemblies with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with team members and engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Disassemble and modify production subassemblies, following detailed work plans.
- Conduct inspections to confirm that assemblies meet quality standards.
Skills Required:
- High School diploma or Trade School education (minimum two years).
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with large, complex builds.
- IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-620 certifications.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) or military environments.
- Additional proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents.
Experience Required:
- Minimum two years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly.
- Previous soldering experience.
- Familiarity with chassis and cable fabrication.
- Computer literacy.
Experience Preferred:
- Two years of experience in the DoD or military settings.
Education Required:
- Two years of High School or Trade School education.
Schedule:
- 4/10 work schedule (Monday-Thursday), typically 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
