Regional Safety Manager (On-site)

Job Description
As a Regional Safety Manager, you will be at the forefront of fostering a positive and proactive safety culture within our client's organization. You will play a critical role in reviewing and updating safety programs, managing worker’s compensation incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will help shape safety behaviors, manage incident metrics, and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites.
What You Will Do:
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture through behaviors and actions.
- Review and update written programs, audits, and conduct accident investigations.
- Track incident metrics and trends, applying findings to enhance safety practices.
- Manage worker’s compensation incidents confidentially, balancing the needs of employees and the company.
- Communicate and collaborate with business partners, regulatory agencies, and employees regarding safety requirements and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards.
- Keep employees, leadership, and direct reports informed about issues, trends, regulatory updates, and training materials.
- Oversee the development and performance management of direct reports.
What You Need to Join Our Team:
- 7+ years of safety experience, including 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, training, inspection, and auditing.
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is required.
- Basic knowledge of DOT, MSHA, and other federal regulations is preferred.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism and conduct that align with the organization’s core values.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and customers.
- Willingness to work overtime during peak activity periods or shutdowns.
Experience:
- 7 years of construction safety supervisory experience (Required)
