Solder Assembler
Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Solder Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Working from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts.
- Utilizing hand and power tools, jigs, and saws effectively.
- Conducting continuity checks on work in progress and completed assemblies.
- Performing quality inspections on the processing line to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies as needed.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in soldering.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to interpret work plans and drawings.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Education Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- On-the-job solder training preferred.
- IPC and J-STD certification is a plus.
