Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced System Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in using Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD to perform equipment-level design and document the mechanical and electrical details of various field enclosures. This role requires the ability to engage with customers, communicate design changes effectively, and analyze site conditions to ensure that infrastructure can support new network and computer equipment installations.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD.
• Ability to perform equipment-level design for mechanical and electrical details of field enclosures.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and convey new or revised designs.
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints for new or existing facilities or field sites.
• Expertise in using Microsoft Visio/AutoCAD to design and document infrastructure requirements, including analyzing power, space, and HVAC conditions.
• Experience in designing and documenting physical layouts and installation requirements to support network infrastructure, including field cabinets and brick-and-mortar buildings.
• Ability to design and document electrical cabling installations for network infrastructure, RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and associated power cabling.
• Experience in designing and documenting requirements for Data Centers and Communication rooms.
• Capability to define and document "Work Scope" for contractors to quote project costs, and in some cases, provide on-site support to ensure project completion.

Experience:

• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.

Education Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
