Job Description

Are you passionate about RF technology and looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled RF Test Technician to join their team. In this role, you will perform essential tests, alignments, and troubleshooting activities on RF-based electronic subassemblies, working with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment.

As an RF Test Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing tests, alignments, and data collection activities on RF-based electronic subassemblies.
  • Conducting component-level troubleshooting and rework on RF-based subassemblies.
  • Installing and setting up test equipment for various procedures.
  • Monitoring equipment status and replacing out-of-calibration or malfunctioning equipment as required.
  • Assisting with additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.

Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Effective Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to troubleshoot RF circuits down to the component level.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret procedures, electronic assembly blueprints, and schematics.
  • Test Equipment Operation: Proficiency in setting up and operating test equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other related instruments.

Skills Preferred

While not required, the following skills will be advantageous:

  • Experience with advanced RF testing techniques.
  • Familiarity with automated test systems and software.

Experience Required

  • A minimum of two (2) years of directly applicable testing experience.

Experience Preferred

  • Four (4) years of directly applicable testing experience is preferred.

Education Required

  • An Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a thorough understanding of circuit analysis, measurement, and instrumentation techniques.
  • Military training in a related field is also acceptable.

Pay Range: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
