• Set up and operate environmental test equipment, including vibration systems and thermal cycling chambers
• Perform Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and other environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies
• Monitor and control test parameters using thermocouples, data loggers, accelerometers, vibration controls, and other instrumentation
• Conduct testing in accordance with engineering procedures, work instructions, and established test methods
• Collect, process, and compile test data and quality documentation
• Maintain accurate test records and logbooks
• Support engineering and production teams with troubleshooting and test activities
• Utilize electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, and automated test systems
• Follow all safety and quality requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience supporting environmental testing of electronic products
• Experience with vibration testing systems such as Unholtz-Dickie or similar equipment
• Experience with thermal cycling and environmental chambers, including Thermotron systems
• Ability to read and follow engineering procedures and test instructions
• Basic computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Support producibility engineering activities to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Assist with the development and execution of functional and acceptance test procedures.
• Provide concurrent engineering support throughout the product development process.
• Layout, troubleshoot, and assemble mechanical sub-systems.
• Perform mechanical operations associated with systems development.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics.
• Troubleshoot electronic components to the component level using a digital multimeter.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet quality and production goals.
• Follow established engineering, safety, and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of formal study in Electronic Engineering Technology, or two years of related engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience reading and interpreting electrical wiring schematics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience using a digital multimeter to troubleshoot electronic components to the component level.
• Minimum of 2 years of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
