As a Statistical Analyst, you will be responsible for a range of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Compiling and computing data using statistical formulas for data analysis and statistical studies.
- Conducting actuarial computations and creating charts and graphs to support actuarial processes.
- Preparing business analytics and assisting in the development of data governance metrics and reports.
- Conducting research and analyzing data, its definitions, usage, system flows, and identifying key challenges and opportunities.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports as needed.
- Supporting the administration of governance forums as required.
- Developing comprehensive documentation, including reference guides, how-to manuals, summaries, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Collaborating closely with data stakeholders across the organization to facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicting viewpoints to reach mutually satisfactory agreements.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in fields such as accounting, actuarial sciences, auditing, banking, business, business administration, business and technology, commerce, computer science, cyber security, econometrics, economics, finance, financial administration, information systems, information systems engineering, information technology, internal controls, data management, data science, computational sciences, statistics, market analysis, mathematics, public administration, public policy, risk management, taxation, or technology.
- Four (4) or more years of financial services experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Data Analysis
- Data Governance or Data Management
- Business Analytics
- Data Visualization
- Statistical or Economic Analysis
- Data and/or Information Security
- Data Quality Metrics and Reporting
- Internal Controls and Process Re-engineering
- Financial Risk Management
- Auditing
- A J.D. or a master’s degree may substitute for one (1) year of specialized experience.
- A Ph.D. may substitute for two (2) years of specialized experience.
