Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk (On-site)
Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk for one of our valued clients.
Responsibilities:

Communication Management:
- Monitor email mailboxes and promptly respond to inquiries from staff, other agencies, and the public.
- Provide information and redirect inquiries to the appropriate office or individual.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Run requested reports and prepare them for distribution.
- Maintain inventory, maintenance, assignment/ITSM ticket logs, or other records to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Office Operations:
- Operate office machines such as copiers, calculators, and computer printers.
- Perform simple maintenance tasks, including adding toner and paper.
- IT Support:
- Setup and support employee workstations, including computer and peripheral setup.
- Configure, maintain, and support desktop software.
- Provide computer troubleshooting and resolve issues as appropriate.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Accurately key data into various databases, software modules, Excel spreadsheets, etc.
- Verify accuracy and correct errors on invoices, vouchers, etc.
- Verify and record payment dates using various databases.
- File Management:
- Establish new and/or maintain files by numbering forms, coding, preparing file folders, and compiling relevant material.
- Update and correct records and file, retrieve records using one or more filing systems.
- Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Assist in the preparation of files to be sent for scanning or to the Business Service Center (BSC).
- Handle miscellaneous assignments as they occur.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting and support.
