Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join their team. This essential role will serve as the key point of contact between internal teams and customers, ensuring the timely production of plastic goods while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers through phone, email, fax, and other channels to identify needs and address requests.
• Review the open order report daily to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Receive and enter orders and change orders into IQMS.
• Maintain a log of customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and timely responses.
• Follow up on order statuses and proactively inform customers of any delays or issues.
• Create requisitions for supply orders and coordinate with the Purchasing Department.
• Work closely with the Planner/Scheduler and production team to ensure production timelines are met.
• Participate in the quoting process and contract reviews to ensure clear understanding of promises made to customers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in plastics injection molding.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior knowledge of IQMS or other ERP systems is preferred.
