Job Description

HEPCO, Inc. is looking for an Associate Project Manager I-III for one of our most important mass transportation authority clients.

Project Description:
Various Elevators and Escalator Maintenance Contracts.

Description of Work:
Under managerial direction, the selected candidate will provide field support and contract administration for Elevators & Escalators:

  • Schedule, organize and lead site surveys of elevators and escalators under contract.

  • Create field reports documenting equipment condition; make recommendations to boost equipment reliability and availability.

  • Generate and issue task orders for repair work.

  • Order parts and supplies for task orders as needed

  • Coordinate delivery of parts and materials to the jobsite.

  • Coordinate and assign contract labor to daily repair projects.

  • Open, update, and close work orders for repairs.

  • Review and reconcile Contractor invoices for completed maintenance and task order work.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
     

Qualifications Requirements:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology or similar engineering degree.

Experience Requirements:

Associate Project Manager I

One year or more full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting on an engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects, or supervising a construction project with a value of $1,000,000 or more.

Associate Project Manager II

Three years or more full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting on an engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects, or supervising a construction project with a value of $1,000,000 or more.

Associate Project Manager III

Five years or more full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting on an engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects, or supervising a construction project with a value of $1,000,000 or more.

Special Skills/Training Requirements:
Familiarity with project management procedures, ability to communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret contract documents, price schedules and drawings. Experience with computer applications and programs including MS Office and Windows. Experience with elevator and escalator operations and maintenance procedures.

Normal Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday (nights/weekends based on project need)
50% Field & 50% Office locations
