Quality Inspector II (On-site)
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our client’s team. This role is responsible for ensuring product, process, and system quality through inspection, testing, and analysis. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of quality inspection techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based production environment.
- Perform quality inspections on parts, products, and assemblies
- Conduct measurements and inspections using precision tools
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Document inspection results and report non-conformances
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Required Skills
- Metrology experience using tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Keyence, or Faro Arms
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Preferred Skills
- Advanced metrology and inspection experience
- Exposure to non-destructive testing methods
Required Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection, quality control, or a related field
- Familiarity with machining and welding processes in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of quality inspection or quality control experience
- Experience working in AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified environments
- Experience with non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic, radiography, or magnetic particle testing
- Hands-on experience with CMMs or optical measurement equipment
Education Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Education Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field
Additional Information
This position offers two fixed shift options. Candidates will be assigned to one shift only.
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM (4 days / 10 hours)
Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (3 days / 12 hours)
