Assembler (On-site)
Job Description
We are seeking a Final Assembly Operator to support first shift operations in a hands-on precision assembly environment.
The Assembly Operator will perform soldering and hand assembly of circuit card assemblies and mechanical chassis using detailed work instructions, wiring diagrams, and process sheets. This is a quality focused role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work with delicate electronic components.
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, kits, and modules using provided tooling and machinery
- Perform wiring of subassemblies using wiring lists and diagrams
- Follow routing instructions, work orders, policies, and procedures
- Verify, inspect, and test products to ensure conformance to requirements
- Perform rework as needed, including work with conformal coating
- Complete mechanical and electrical assembly operations using standard tools and techniques
- Perform soldering and inspection when certified
- Cross train in other assembly areas as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality
Required Skills
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Mechanical assembly ability and hands on experience
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Mechanical assembly of delicate components
- J-Standard / IPC-610 soldering experience
- Wiring of circuit cards
- Rework experience with conformal coating
- Minimum of two years of High School or Trade School education required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to hand solder to J-Standard / IPC-610 Class 3 standards (training available)
- Experience wiring circuit cards
- Circuit card and mechanical hand assembly experience
- Rework experience involving conformal coating
- Experience using software to track work in progress, quality, and inventory such as Oracle or SAP
- Lean Six Sigma training

Pay Range: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
