Product Support Specialist (On-site)

Our client is seeking a Product Support Specialist to join a dynamic Weapon Systems Test Team supporting both mature and emerging technologies. This role is highly autonomous, mission-driven, and ideal for individuals who take ownership, communicate well, and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure success. Candidates must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
In this position, you will support weapons system development, integrate and troubleshoot complex equipment, and work side-by-side with engineers and technicians on projects that directly impact system performance, reliability, and readiness.
- Support development, testing, integration, and sustainment of weapon system products
- Troubleshoot equipment-related design and performance issues
- Conduct hands-on diagnostics, maintenance, and repair activities
- Manage assigned tasks independently and drive them to completion
- Execute test activities at on-site and off-site field locations
- Participate in cross-functional technical teams
- Document findings, test data, observations, and corrective actions
- Provide technical support during system installation, upgrades, and evaluations
- Maintain clear, timely communication with internal teams and customers
- Assist with planning test events, resource coordination, and equipment preparation
- Provide product insight to improve reliability and maintainability
Required Skills
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and execute technical tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Willingness to travel and support field assignments
- Ability to take ownership of high-level requirements and translate them into actionable work
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
Required Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent plus eight years of defense-related experience in engineering, manufacturing, design, test, or field service
- Ability to identify design or performance problems and lead project teams

Pay Range: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
