Assembler (On-site)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assembler to work with electronic components, subassemblies, and systems. The ideal candidate will follow specific written work instructions to assemble various electronic components, ensuring high quality and accuracy in all work.
- Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to detailed written instructions.
- Interpret assembly drawings and schematics to ensure proper assembly.
- Use Microsoft Office suite and computers for communication and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, particularly IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
Shift:
- 4/10 Shift (Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Skills Required:
- Two (2) years of education from High School or Trade School.
- Ability to identify and understand electronic components (a plus).
- Ability to interpret assembly drawings.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
- Soldering experience (a plus).
- IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Certifications (a plus).
- Must be able to pass IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 courses as a condition of continued employment.
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of High School or Trade School education.
- Must be able to obtain IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Certifications.
Experience Requirements:
- Two (2) years of education from High School or Trade School is required.
