Assembler (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join their team in a full-time, onsite role. This position supports advanced electronics within the aerospace and defense industry and requires hands-on work in a clean room production environment.
Position Overview:
The Electrical Assembler will assemble, modify, and inspect electromechanical components and subassemblies while following detailed work instructions. This role requires precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under magnification for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts for electromechanical equipment following schematics, blueprints, and process plans
- Perform conformal coating masking and coating on small components
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and conformance to specifications
- Work with fine tools, including brushes, to coat detailed features with precision
- Disassemble and modify subassemblies as needed
- Operate in a clean room environment while maintaining high production and quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of High School or Trade School education
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working under slight magnification for the majority of the shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior conformal coating inspection experience
- Experience with conformal coat masking and coating
- Ability to work meticulously with masking tape and fine brushes
- Experience with soldering or epoxy application
- Familiarity with solder reflow ovens, pick-and-place machines, or automated measurement systems
- IPC-A-610 and J-STD certifications are a plus
- Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Schedule:
4/10 – 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday), typically 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
