Assembler (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an Assembler to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. You will work on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling parts and components using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws
- Following diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts
- Performing continuity checks on work in process and completed work
- Conducting quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications
- Disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies as per specifications and simulated conditions
Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
Skills Preferred:
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology) experience
- Soldering or inspection experience
- Machine operation
- Conformal coating experience
Experience Required:
- None, although preferred skills or experience are a plus
Education Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
