Assembler (On-site)
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform solder touch-up after Surface Mount Technology (SMT) mass reflow.
- Apply conformal coating to electronic assemblies.
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, kits, and modules according to detailed instructions and diagrams.
- Operate hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards; perform rework if necessary.
- Complete both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
- Conduct soldering and visual inspection (if certified).
- Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety, quality, and procedural guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of high school or trade school education.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions.
- Must be available to work onsite full-time, Friday–Sunday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
Preferred Experience:
- SMT setup experience.
- Soldering experience.
- Conformal coating application.
- Bonding and flow soldering experience.
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification.
