Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Assembler IV to support their production team in assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and modules. As an Assembler IV, you will work from detailed samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists, diagrams, routing instructions, and process sheets. Using specialized tooling and machinery, you'll assemble parts, including securing them with fasteners to build electronic assemblies.

Your responsibilities will also include verifying results to ensure conformity with specifications and performing rework when necessary. You will be involved in various electronic assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and other components like relays, transformers, capacitors, and resistors. This role requires a strong background in both mechanical and electrical assembly efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules per technical drawings, diagrams, and process sheets.
  • Perform electronic assembly operations, including wire termination, and installation of various components (e.g., wire harnesses, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, capacitors, resistors).
  • Verify results to ensure conformance with engineering requirements.
  • Perform rework as needed to meet quality and production standards.
  • Utilize appropriate tooling, machinery, and fasteners to complete assembly tasks.
  • Ensure proper documentation of assembly processes and completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and meet production goals.

Skills Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum 2 years of education in High School or Trade School).
  • Proficiency in high soldering skills (SMD, through-hole soldering, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret technical documents (prints, wiring lists, diagrams).
  • Hands-on experience with wire harnessing and electronic component assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to perform rework and troubleshoot assembly issues.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of high school or trade school education.
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical and electrical assembly operations.
  • Experience in soldering and assembling complex electronic components.

Pay Range: $20.73 - $25.73 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
