Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Auditing Clerk to support our client in efficiently managing various tasks related to personnel records and payroll. As an Auditing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and compliance in record-keeping and administrative processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Scanning and Electronic Filing:

    • Scan and organize personnel files.
    • Electronically file documents to on-base systems.
    • Manage the shredding process for outdated documents.
  2. Employee Accruals and Anniversary Tracking:
    • Monitor and update employee accruals.
    • Track and update the employee anniversary list.
  3. New Hires:
    • Schedule interviews, fingerprints, physicals, and orientations for new hires.
    • Organize and run the orientation and onboarding process.
  4. Employee Communication:
    • Draft and send employee-related letters (hiring, health care, etc.).
  5. Benefits Management:
    • Manage retiree/PT dental and vision payments.
    • Handle retiree/PT dental and vision rate increases, annual letters, and remittance slips.
  6. Workplace Scheduling and COVID-19 Tracking:
    • Assist with workplace scheduling.
    • Track active COVID-19 cases and quarantine measures.
  7. Payroll Processing:
    • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
    • Prepare and send bi-weekly payroll reports on a monthly basis.
    • Process deferred comp reports.
  8. Financial Record Keeping:
    • Create payroll authorization labels for executive approval.
    • Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements (Revenue Fund, Flex, Payroll, A/P).
  9. Document Management:
    • Upload GL payroll files and bi-weekly accrual reports to the GTM drive.
    • Scan and file yearly ACA 1094/1095C forms, training acknowledgment forms, and emergency contact updates to on-base.
  10. Tax and Compliance:
    • Assist in quarterly tax reconciliation.
    • Review W-2s and process yearly payouts.
    • Handle retirement enrollment processes.
  11. Benefits Enrollment:
    • Process health benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Auditing Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Duration: approximately 9 months
