Auditor (Hybrid)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an Auditor to support program operations through detailed financial review, data analysis, and reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring fiscal accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation within a government-funded program environment.
Desired experience includes:
- Basic knowledge of financial terminology and budget preparation
- Ability to review, verify, and validate calculations and business transactions
- Ability to examine, analyze, and interpret fiscal data and accounting records
- Ability to synthesize financial information and summarize findings in clear written reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working with a federally funded nutrition program such as WIC
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment supporting program operations
- Experience working in a government setting
- Familiarity with New York State systems and state-specific terminology
