Job Description

As an Automation Developer specializing in Blue Prism, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the automation processes within our client's organization. This includes monitoring job processing, managing user access, ensuring compliance with segregation of duties, and updating and maintaining the RPA platforms, specifically Blue Prism and Power Automate.

  • Monitor and support daily automation transactions, ensuring successful completion of scheduled automations.
  • Perform recovery steps on an automation-by-automation basis as needed.
  • Communicate with the business and COE regarding any automation issues or failures.
  • Research and document new system exceptions in incident tickets.
  • Maintain the overall health of the production environment.
  • Monitor daily reports and metrics for trends, taking appropriate action.
  • Work on fixes for incident tickets, enhancements, and maintenance requests, including testing.
  • Stay informed and engaged in new automations being promoted and scheduled.
  • Research the root cause of system exceptions in detail for quicker development resolutions.
  • Generate, review, and share the Daily Production Report.
  • Attend RPA Stand-ups to stay aware of new automation releases and upcoming activities.
  • Prioritize and work on tickets scheduled for the current sprint, seeking assistance if needed.
  • Update Runbooks as necessary.
  • Migrate release packages between environments.
  • Provision new runtime machines and install required software as needed.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, Office 365, and Azure.
  • Experience in troubleshooting pro-code/low-code/no-code development.
  • Proficient in server support and systems troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
  • Understanding of workflow-based logic.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience or equivalent.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
