CMM Programmer/Operator

Job Description
- Develop quality plans, quality assurance procedures, performing layout work on applicable measurement equipment using Faro, Leica or similar laser inspection equipment and offline programming using PCDMIS CAD and Spatial Analyzer software.
- Reads and interprets customer drawings and specifications and identify appropriate inspection methods.
- Interprets geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications.
- Performs 1st piece, last piece, and in-process inspection checks.
- Evaluates nonconforming material to determine final disposition.
- Provides support to Manufacturing Engineering and other business units.
- Experience performing inspection and alignment with Laser Trackers
- Portable Metrology experience using Spatial Analyzer or equivalent software
- CMM programming and operation using PC-Dmis or equivalent software
- CMS Certification
- Computer literacy required to be able to prepare appropriate reports and documents
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Working experience with Ansi Y14.5 GD&T
- Experience reading and working with blueprints
- Work history with portable Metrology Inspection and Alignment
- Understanding of and the ability to use shop math
- Typically requires a High School diploma (or GED or equivalent) and 8 years related work experience or
- Associates Degree and 6 years related work experience or
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years related work experience
