Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead land development projects from concept through construction. This direct hire role is responsible for planning, organizing, designing, and managing projects while ensuring successful completion within established schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Projects will primarily focus on multifamily and commercial land development.

  • Manage project proposals, site design, stormwater management, drainage studies, permitting, and plan preparation.
  • Lead land development projects through all phases, including grading, drainage, erosion control, utility design, and site infrastructure.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control requirements.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Prepare project scopes, schedules, work plans, and fee proposals.
  • Monitor project financial performance and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and represent projects during hearings and public meetings.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
  • Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related civil engineering and project management experience.
  • Strong background in land development projects, including site plans, grading, drainage, and permitting.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, or similar design software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with state and local permitting processes.
  • HydroCAD experience preferred.

Pay Range: $72,000 - $08,000 per year (Depending on experience and qualifications)
