We are seeking a highly experienced Civil PE Engineer, for a direct hire role, with expertise in land use design, specifically drainage design, grading, sewer, and roadway design for both commercial and residential applications. As a Civil PE Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and participating in the design process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Hydro CAD is preferred, along with a Professional Engineer License in the state of NJ.

• Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive site development designs, focusing on drainage design, grading, sewer systems, and roadway design for commercial and residential projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD 2020 Civil 3D to create accurate and detailed design plans, incorporating site contouring, storm water design, and advanced grading design.
• Ensure designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and meet client requirements.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data, evaluate site conditions, and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and environmental engineers, to coordinate design efforts and ensure project success.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to civil engineering design.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, specifically in land use design.
• Extensive experience in drainage design, grading, and site contouring.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2020 Civil 3D for design and drafting.
• Professional Engineer License in the state of NJ.
• Knowledge of storm water design principles and advanced grading techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex engineering problems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
