Computer Support Specialist (On-site)
Job Description
We are seeking a Computer Support Specialist on behalf of our client. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth IT operations and providing excellent technical support within their IT Call Center.
Job Description: As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical difficulties. Your primary responsibilities will include answering calls and responding to emails, addressing both hardware and software issues. This role demands a high level of professionalism and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service under pressure.
- Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to user issues.
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
- Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
- Update customer data and produce activity reports.
- Walk customers through problem-solving processes.
- Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
- Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.
- Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure.
- Recommended procedure modifications or improvements.
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe products.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware issues with laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High degree of attention to detail.
Preferred Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Degree or Certificate Program in a related field is preferred.
