Configuration Analyst I (On-site)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Configuration Analyst to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting upfront analysis of internal and external problem reports related to the design, development, and production of complex systems in a defense environment. Your duties will include monitoring assigned program items, attending program meetings, facilitating Review Board meetings when necessary, and providing essential reports for system accuracy and audit purposes. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues within the Change Management Process and support system users by addressing questions and resolving workflow issues. Engagement in team projects and system improvements is essential to success in this role.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite to prepare metrics, reports, and documents.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload.
- Proficient in troubleshooting issues within Change Management Process and program supported workflows.
Skills Preferred:
- Prior experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) software, preferably Windchill, and ORACLE ERP.
- Background in process optimization.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience with a high school diploma.
- 2+ years of experience with an associate's degree.
- Entry-level candidates with a bachelor's degree will also be considered.
Experience Preferred:
- Previous experience in process optimization is advantageous.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar field.
