Cost Engineer Infrastructure Project (On-site)
Job Description
HEPCO Inc. is seeking Cost Engineers to support cost controls and financial management for a major infrastructure project at Newark Airport. This role plays a key part in tracking project performance, managing change orders, and supporting financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and overall financial health
- Track and manage Potential Change Orders (PCOs)
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses
- Review owner notices and assess cost and schedule impacts
- Manage subcontractor change orders (CORs) and support negotiations
- Review subcontractor payments and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Maintain accurate cost documentation and project financial records
- Support financial reporting, audits, and project reviews
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in cost engineering or construction finance
- Experience supporting heavy civil or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in Procore, HCSS, Microsoft Excel, and Primavera P6
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Pay Range: $48.08 - $72.12 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
