We are seeking an Electrical Design Specialist Sr. to support our client in the design and drafting of both electrical and mechanical aspects of electrical/electronic equipment. Responsibilities include designing wiring harnesses, creating and checking schematic diagrams, developing wiring diagrams, and performing overall chassis and housing design for line replaceable units (LRUs). The role also involves selecting components for LRUs and wiring harnesses, such as connectors, accessories, and shielding. Candidates will produce schematic diagrams and CAD drawings for internal and external use, with deliverables compatible with configuration control systems.

Skills Required:

• Experience with electrical/electronic systems of military ground vehicles
• Ability to complete full design lifecycle from concept to validation
• Proficiency in CAD drafting/modeling and advanced design techniques
• Experience with wiring harness/cable assembly design and routing
• Proficient in Creo Pro-Cable with a minimum of 2 years' experience
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-100, ANSI Y14.5/14.41, and GD&T
• Experience with Siemens Capital Harness Logical Data
• Working knowledge of military electrical connector and cabling specifications
• Ability to create wiring harness schematics using Visio Technical
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Creo Design

Education Required:

• Associate Degree in a relevant technical field plus at least 9 years of experience
• OR a Bachelor's Degree in a related field plus at least 5 years of experience
• Working knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical engineering tools is highly desired
