Electrical Engineer (APM II)

HEPCO, Inc. is looking for an Associate Project Manager II for one of our most important mass transportation authority clients in New York, NY.
Description of Work:
Interface with Client as needed to support the Infrastructure Business Unit's management of various capital projects to meet capital program goals.
Coordinate with a multitude of users including, operations and engineering personnel as well as Client.
Assist with field inspections to evaluate the work performed.
Assist to ensure specifications are followed with emphasis on safety, quality and schedule and with required accommodation of Client's policies and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Business Leader.
Must have or willing to acquire 30-hour OSHA Certification.
The individual shall provide his/her own safety shoes.
To provide coordination of field activities, project coordination, inspections on numerous projects as needed with Client, for multiple projects, including but not limited to within the five Boroughs on NY. This would include C-34869, P-36700 Replace HT switchgear 7 locations, P-36698 New Maspeth SS, P- 36699 New Harrison SS, P-80682 New SS Tottenville, P-80683 New Power SS, New Dorp, P-80684 New SS, Clifton, P-36705 Central SS renewal, C-32397 Replace Transformer 78th St SS.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Five years' experience in engineering/project management.
Client experience with design, expediting, and/or inspection preferred.
Knowledge of Client operations/engineering.
The ability to coordinate with a multitude of stakeholders, such as: contractors, operations, other MTA departments and engineering personnel.
Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to write and speak clearly in English.
Ability to organize project information efficiently and prepare reports.
Knowledge of capital project design and inspection procedures preferred.
Normal Work Location and Schedule:
Based at 2 Broadway, NY but requires 60% travel to various field locations.
Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm (nights/weekend based on project need)
Work Location: 2 Broadway; Field visits as required.
