Electrical Designer (On-site)

Position Summary:
The Electrical Designer will support the design, documentation, and implementation of electrical systems, cabling, and subsystem components. You will collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions that improve manufacturability and product performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and document new cabling that spans multiple subsystems and electrical enclosures
- Design and document electrical and cabling modifications for existing systems
- Independently design and document electrical and cabling details based on direction from Engineering
- Determine optimal distribution of electrical components and cabling across subsystems and enclosures
- Work from high-level direction; execute detailed design and documentation
- Work within existing documentation practices and recommend improvements
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
- Prepare and present design documentation for stakeholder review
- Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Requirements:
- Functional/technical skills
- Attention to detail
- 5–7 years of experience
- Mid-Senior level
- No management experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Certification or equivalent relevant experience in mechanical design, electronics, power distribution, and cable design
- Certification or equivalent relevant experience in documentation practices for electrical and mechanical systems
Compensation:
- Salary: $85,000–$95,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
