Construction Project Engineer (On-site), non IT role
Job Description
HEPCO Inc. is seeking Project Engineers to support rail and AirTrain system improvements focused on safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role works closely with engineering, operations, and field teams to support project execution and system performance.
- Develop technical specifications, drawings, and scopes of work
- Support project planning, execution, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and contractor teams
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support system performance improvements
- Assist with emergency response and resolution of field issues
- Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in project engineering or field engineering (rail or transit preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed based on project demands

Pay Range: $43.27 - $48.08 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
