We are currently seeking Senior Software Engineers for an exciting opportunity with our client. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about working in advanced technology software integration and testing labs. The position focuses on designing and maintaining integrated lab environments involving both electronic hardware and software at the component, sub-system, and vehicle platform levels.

The successful candidate will have solid experience with mechatronic systems, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups, and emulation tools. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and support complex test lab environments
• Integrate electronic components and software systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot HIL systems
• Support hardware/software debugging and system-level testing

Skills Required:

• Understanding of computer networking (VLANs, switch configuration)
• Experience with multiple communication protocols
• Ability to run and manage simulation models
• Experience with embedded real-time software verification
• Active Secret security clearance

Skills Preferred:

• Familiarity with Windows event logs
• Experience with NI TestStand
• Understanding of model/hardware integration

Experience Required:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
• Cable troubleshooting, building, and repair
• Scripting with Python, BASH, or NI TestStand
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows OS
• Debugging complex electro-mechanical systems

Experience Preferred:

• Familiarity with CAN, MIL-STD-1553, and other serial communication protocols
• Ethernet protocols and related tools
• Programming in C or C++
• Use of diagnostic tools such as Wireshark
• Conducting system-level use case testing
