Our client is seeking an experienced Artillery Vehicle Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating prototype designs and creating production drawings compliant with industry and U.S. Government specifications. This role includes supporting design reviews, technical meetings, and ensuring design integrity throughout the production process.

• Create and maintain product parts, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo modeling software
• Perform complex engineering design, development, analysis, and product assurance tasks for assigned portions of a project
• Solve moderately complex engineering problems that may not have clear precedents
• Review drawings and associated Bills of Materials (BOMs) and identify necessary corrections
• Apply knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.5 standards
• Understand and apply relevant military and commercial design standards
• Demonstrate strong customer relationship and communication skills

Experience Required

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant engineering environment

Experience Preferred

• Experience creating and revising drawings using military and commercial design standards
• Familiarity with current engineering applications and technologies
• Experience working in a military product production environment
• Experience managing development tasks to meet project budgets and schedules within an integrated product team environment

Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline such as Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, plus 4 years of related experience
