Engineering Production Support, on-site
Job Description
Our elite client is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Engineer to join their Production Support Team. This is a unique opportunity to launch your engineering career by working directly on mission-critical systems in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, models, and test results for compliance with military standards and product requirements.
- Serve as the Engineering Point of Contact for production operations.
- Identify and document technical issues through Problem Reports, collaborating with the Integrated Program Team (IPT) to develop solutions.
- Manage and maintain the Variance Control Process for deviations from the technical data package (TDP), including internal and customer approvals.
- Develop and implement solutions for production-related design and configuration issues through repairs, variances, and configuration notes.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing integration between Design and Production teams.
- Recommend and communicate design improvements for systems, subsystems, and components.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Entry-level knowledge of engineering fundamentals and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience using 3D CAD tools, preferably PTC Creo (Pro/Engineer, ProductView).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; able to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
- Proven organizational and time management skills; capable of balancing multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with electrical components, wiring, and integrated systems is a plus.
- Experience with engineering change processes and configuration management tools.

Pay: $38.00 – $41.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
