Job Description

Our client, a leading company in the defense and aerospace sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to join their Facilities Department. The candidate will provide support on various tasks and projects. The role requires a self-starter with a flexible mindset who can ensure the successful planning and delivery of capital projects. 

  • Provide support on a variety of tasks and projects within the Facilities Department.
  • Ensure successful capital project planning and delivery.
  • Support the Facilities IWMS (TRIRIGA) system with data entry/updates and basic CAD support.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key business partners.
  • Engage with Business Area and Functional leaders to understand office and lab requirements.
  • Provide timely solutions to meet the demand to execute on government contracts.
  • Update IWMS (TRIRIGA) system with space usage data and employee locations.
  • Develop site occupancy plans for supply and demand: analyze forecasted headcount and seat supply projections, support graphs, stacking plans, move scenarios, and provide recommendations.
  • Implement move plans in accordance with approved occupancy plans along with day-to-day service requests.
  • Support change management related to changing workspace and work style.
  • Support communication plans related to occupancy plans.
  • Improve Site Leadership awareness by providing trending analysis on new hires, terminations, moves, vacancies, and actual vs forecast data.
  • Strive to maintain best-in-class space and occupancy data.
  • Implement processes and develop continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental objectives.
  • Run bi-weekly meetings for the site facilities team.

Skills Required:

  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or 2D/3D design software.
  • Experience with space planning objectives and execution.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience Required:

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key business partners.
  • Experience engaging with Business Area and Functional leaders to understand and meet office and lab requirements.
  • Experience in updating IWMS (TRIRIGA) system with space usage data and employee locations.
  • Proven ability to develop site occupancy plans, analyze forecasted headcount, and provide recommendations.
  • Experience implementing move plans and supporting day-to-day service requests.
  • Experience in supporting change management and communication plans related to occupancy.
  • Ability to provide trending analysis and improve Site Leadership awareness.
  • Commitment to maintaining best-in-class space and occupancy data.
  • Proven ability to implement processes and develop continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental objectives.
  • Experience running bi-weekly meetings for the site facilities team.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of related experience.
