Job Description
HEPCO Inc. is currently seeking dedicated mid-level and senior Help Desk Technicians to join our clients team. This position is contingent upon the award of supporting the US Navy in Newport, Rhode Island.
- Provide comprehensive Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Help Desk support services.
- Conduct interviews with customers contacting the Help Desk, diagnose various IT-related issues, and respond accordingly. Escalate complex problems to higher support levels when necessary.
- Serve as the first point of contact and primary dispatcher for all IT services, including application and hardware support, unclassified/classified networks, file and print services, domain access, AIS Information Security, telephones, and cell phones. Utilize the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) application.
- Create, record, and verify user accounts for accessing assets in classified and unclassified environments. Distribute token cards used to access these accounts.
- Manage the ordering, distribution, and inventory of domestic and international cell phones, smartphones, air cards, calling cards, conference calls, and accessories.
Experience Requirements:
For Mid-level candidates:
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience providing help desk and client support services to DoD contracts. Navy-specific experience is preferred but not required.
For Senior candidates:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience providing help desk and client support services to DoD contracts. Navy-specific experience is preferred but not required.
Educational Requirements:
For Mid-level candidates:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
- Candidates without a Bachelor's degree may qualify with one of the following professional certifications: Security+, GSEC, or SSCP.
- MCSA Windows 10 certification is desired.
For Senior candidates:
- Master's degree (MS/MA) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Candidates without a Bachelor's degree may qualify with one of the following professional certifications: CISSP or CASP.
- MCSA Windows 10 certification is desired.
All candidates should have experience with some of the following products and tools: iET Help Desk Software, FlexLM License Management/System, Argent, ProLaw, MS Project, MS Office Suite, MS System Center Suite, and Visio.
Security Requirements:
- Secret Clearance is necessary.
