Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Data Analytics professional with Department of Defense (DoD) experience to support SSC AtlasX. This position involves delivering critical thinking, data-driven insights, and analysis in a dynamic, high-paced environment that supports SSC senior leadership and contributes to the effective management of the SSC space enterprise. The organization oversees Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets — all essential to current and future DoD operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface with data governance organizations to assist with policy development, governance, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
• Support data mining activities including anomaly detection, dependency modeling, clustering, classification, regression, and summarization.
• Conduct data operations such as extraction, transformation, and integration into multiple systems using established data and business analytic frameworks.
• Develop and apply complex statistical and analytical models to perform descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics that improve decision-making and reduce risk.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and support the lifecycle of analytic products.
• Prepare and present analytical findings, reports, and studies to translate data into actionable insights.
• Participate in change management and training initiatives related to analytic activities and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, IT analysts, and developers to enhance analytic capabilities and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience with DoD programs or organizations, preferably SSC Space Acquisition.
• Secret Clearance

Technical Expertise:

• Experience with DAF Data Fabric analytics platforms (e.g., Envision, VAULT, BLADE, ADVANA).
• Proficiency in COTS Business Intelligence software (e.g., Palantir Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
• Experience with SharePoint development, Microsoft 365 suite (Power Automate, Power Apps, Forms, Lists).
• Knowledge of database languages and data transformation tools (e.g., SQL, PySpark, Pandas, R).
• Familiarity with SSC business systems (PMRT, CCaR, CRIS, FPDS, MilPDS, DCPDS, REMIS, LISN).
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering preferred.

Compensation:
Salary range: $80,000 – $105,000 yearly commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Professional office environment at Los Angeles Air Force Base.
• Primarily sedentary role with occasional filing and light lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively while maintaining professionalism and emotional composure.
