Inspector II (On-site)
Job Description
We are seeking an Inspector II to support quality operations through dimensional inspection and auditing activities. This role involves working with measurement equipment to verify machined and welded parts meet blueprint and customer requirements, while also supporting shop floor quality processes.
- Perform dimensional inspections of machined and/or welded parts to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications
- Operate and support coordinate measurement machine (CMM) inspections
- Use standard inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and scales
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Provide auditing support to shop floor operations
- Document inspection results and report any non-conformances
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience
- Experience with basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and scales
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to work weekend shift
Preferred Qualifications
- CMM experience
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Weld inspection experience
- Experience with Faro Arm, Laser Tracker, or Keyence system
