Job Description
We are seeking a Logistics Analyst I to execute provisioning efforts for assigned programs for our client. This includes research, development, preparation, loading, manipulation, and maintenance of provisioning parts data. The successful candidate will prepare provisioning documentation for internal and external customers using provisioning and sparing techniques and technologies. The role involves developing various provisioning and Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR) documentation in compliance with applicable military standards. The Logistics Analyst will prepare technical portions of spare parts lists, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL), and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). Additionally, they may analyze spare and repair part requirements and provide project estimates.
Skills Required:
- Detailed knowledge of applicable Military Standards used for development of LMI data.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to define and/or forecast support requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics design influence.
- Skilled with computer software and tools related to LMI activities.
- Ability to plan, document, and deploy logistics resources using LSA/LSAR as part of the acquisition process.
- Capable of conducting internal/external customer meetings, validations, verifications, logistics demos, LSA/LSAR reviews, in-process reviews, etc.
- Computer literate with experience interpreting engineering drawings and Military Standards.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience with relevant LMI applications in a defense environment.
- Basic understanding of the ten Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.
Experience Required:
- Relevant Associate degree + 6 years of additional experience; or relevant Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of additional experience.
- Military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience Preferred:
- Prefer experience with relevant LMI applications in a defense environment.
- Prefer basic understanding of the ten Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.
Education Required:
- Relevant Associate degree + 6 years of additional experience; or relevant Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of additional experience.
- Military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Pay Range: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
