Position Description:
The Logistics Analyst I is responsible for executing provisioning efforts for assigned programs, including research, development, preparation, loading, manipulation, and maintenance of provisioning parts data. This role involves preparing provisioning documentation for delivery to internal and external customers using provisioning and sparing techniques and technologies. The analyst will develop various provisioning and Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR) documentation in accordance with applicable military standards. Duties include preparing the technical portions of spare parts lists, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL), and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). The position may also involve analyzing spare and repair part requirements and providing project estimates.
Skills Required:
- Detailed knowledge of applicable Military Standards used in the development of LMI (Logistics Management Information) data.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong ability to define and forecast support requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics design influence.
- Proficiency in computer software and tools used for LMI-related activities.
- Ability to plan and document LSA/LSAR development, testing, and deployment of logistics resources as part of the acquisition process.
- Skilled in conducting customer meetings, validations/verifications, log demonstrations, LSA/LSAR reviews, and in-process reviews.
- Computer literate with experience in reading and interpreting Military Standards.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience with relevant LMI applications in a defense environment.
- Awareness or basic understanding of the ten Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.
Experience Required:
- Associate degree in a relevant field plus 6 years of related experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of related experience.
- Equivalent military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience Preferred:

Prior experience working with LMI or logistics analysis within the defense sector.
Education Required:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (as outlined above).
- Military experience may substitute for formal education requirements.

Pay Range: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
