Job Description

Our client is seeking a Configuration Analyst I to support the analysis and management of engineering change and problem report processes for complex defense systems. This role is responsible for monitoring workflow activities, supporting program teams, maintaining data accuracy within PLM systems, and ensuring configuration management processes are executed efficiently.

  • Perform upfront analysis of internal and external problem reports related to the design, development, and production of complex systems.
  • Monitor assigned program items to ensure they progress through established systems and workflows.
  • Attend required program meetings and assist in facilitating Review Board meetings as needed.
  • Support assigned programs by preparing reports for system accuracy, metrics, and audit purposes.
  • Respond to questions from system users regarding workflow processes and resolve issues within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the Change Management process and supported program workflows.
  • Participate in team projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered:
    • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
    • Associate's Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree with no prior professional experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to analyze problems and troubleshoot workflow and process issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) software, preferably PTC Windchill.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP.
  • Experience supporting process optimization or continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Range: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
