Manufacturing - Engineering Configuration Analyst II (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Configuration Analyst II to support hardware configuration management activities for complex defense systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining product configuration integrity throughout the design, development, and production lifecycle while ensuring compliance with established configuration management processes and industry standards.
- Perform Hardware Configuration Management (CM) activities supporting the design, development, and production of complex systems.
- Manage changes to approved configurations using a systematic and controlled change management process.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver Engineering Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
- Apply Configuration Management processes in accordance with the established Configuration Management Plan.
- Support configuration management and quality audits.
- Prepare reports, metrics, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, customers, and suppliers to ensure configuration accuracy and compliance.
- Resolve problems of moderate scope and complexity while following established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Associate's Degree or four (4) years of Configuration Management experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Configuration Management experience.
- Experience using a Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or eight (8) years of Configuration Management experience.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
- Experience with PTC Windchill.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management standards and military specifications, including MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, EIA-649, ASME Y14.24, and ASME Y14.100.
- Formal training in Configuration Data Management (CDM).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas.
- Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Familiarity with CMMI requirements.

Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
