Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. This role involves inspecting products, researching, and completing certification documentation for inspected products. The Senior Quality Engineer will work in a team environment, reviewing, inspecting, and assembling certification packets of products to present to government inspectors.

• Inspect and evaluate products for quality assurance.
• Research and complete certification documentation for inspected products.
• Collaborate in a team environment to review, inspect, and compile certification packets.
• Present certification packets to government inspectors.
• Create and process detailed reports.
• Utilize corrective action tools such as 5-Why, 8-D, A3, and Fishbone diagrams to address quality issues.
• Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.

Skills Required:

• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency is essential).
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Experience in corrective actions (5-Why, 8-D, A3, and Fishbone diagrams).
• Experience in reviewing product certifications.
• Strong product inspection and evaluation skills.
• Ability to create and process detailed reports.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically in the quality field.

Education Required:

• A 4-year Engineering Degree is preferred; however, extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
