Material Planning Coord III (On-site)

Position Description
The Material Planning Coordinator III supports production by managing materials, inventory flow, documentation, and MRP schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute, issue, and maintain MRP-based production schedules
- Serve as the link between production management, supervisors, and material control
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials to assigned production areas
- Perform inventory audits and identify risks: shortages, obsolescence, misdirected parts
- Collaborate with engineering, supplier quality, warehouse, technicians, and operations
- Status work order progress and track material consumption in MRP
- Post goods to stock and transact items to next manufacturing process
- Prepare release requests, shipping documents, material requests, and move order updates
- Review demand, inventory on hand, and incoming materials to support schedules
- Analyze stock-out causes and recommend corrective actions
- Support process improvements and help resolve material constraints
- Prioritize workloads in a dynamic production setting
- Communicate material issues to planners and supply chain teams
- Facilitate cycle counts on the shop floor and in the warehouse
- Update PFEP plans to match production requirements
- Assist with vendor-managed inventory coordination
Skills Required
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); basic PowerPoint
- Ability to status work orders and material usage in an MRP system
- Ability to generate scrap, cycle-time, and reorder reports
- Ability to prevent stock-outs through accurate MRP inputs
- Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- 1+ years in operations or supply chain
- Associate degree in a technical or business field or equivalent experience

Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
