OPS Engineer 2 (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an OPS Engineer 2 to support ongoing operations.
Position Summary:
The OPS Engineer 2 will contribute to testing, troubleshooting, process improvement, and compliance activities across both classified and unclassified units. This role requires proactive engagement in quality initiatives, safety compliance, and technical support of manufacturing and engineering processes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure full compliance with safety protocols
- Test, troubleshoot, and disposition deliverable and undeliverable hardware
- Perform root cause and corrective action investigations
- Create, maintain, and improve work instructions and test documentation
- Review and approve engineering changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test processes and ensure compliance
- Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement activities
- Support quality initiatives, including document control, investigations, and corrective actions
- Provide technical feedback on product build and design processes
- Support tooling definition and troubleshooting
- Work to eliminate process bottlenecks and improve turnaround time
- Contribute to team development through training, coaching, and identifying skills gaps
Required Skills:
- Electrical circuit analysis
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills down to module-level failures
- Root cause and corrective action methodology
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Capable of managing tasks to meet project milestones
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Experience:

2 years of related industry experience in a technical or engineering environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
